Top of the table clash could prove to be vital for Bees promotion push

The Bees travel to top of the table Thackley on Sunday, knowing that victory will put them in pole position for promotion. In a short format calendar, the Bees will only get one chance to showcase their title credentials and coach's Sykes and Booth know that they must take it, if they want to progress at the first time of asking.

The Bees will take confidence from last weeks 7-1 victory over C M Albion, but they will know that free scoring Thackley will pose a totally different challenge. The Bees will need to be at their best to deny the Bradford based side a forth straight victory and the opportunity to remain unbeaten.

The Bees will be without skipper Booth, following his dismissal at the weekend, along with O'Gara, who could find out the extent of his injuries in the coming weeks.

In previous meetings, this has been a closely fought battle and the Bees will be hoping that this time, is their time.
