'The winner takes third', as the Bees look to put the disapointment of the cups behind them.
After a rather disapointing exit 2 weeks ago from the Keighley cup at the hands of local rivals, Oxenhope, the Bees will be looking to bounce back in style and claim a respectable third place finish in this CAWL division H clash. Coaches Sykes and Booth will be hoping for an instant response from their troops, following the humiliation of last time out, as the Bees welcome Bolton Woods to Bronte playing fields for the final outing of the regular season.
Early team news suggests the Bees maybe at full strength, with the exception of season-long absentee O'Gara who this week found out he faces an agonisingly long wait for a return to action after tearing his ACL and detaching the ligaments behind his knee in a pre-season friendly. The whole of the OJFC family wish Leo well with his emergency surgery & post-op recovery, and the Bees look forward to his return in 6 to 12 months.
As far as conditions go, the weather could well hold out for a fine and dry morning but, with temperatures set to only reach double figures around the 12pm mark, its set to be a cold one.
Up the Bees!
